Jim Joined AkzoNobel in May of 1999. He co-facilitates multiple performance groups, teaches educational classes, conducts onsite consulting, and supports Carbeat in his market. Jim assists shops in implementing Lean/PCE processes, and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Some of the areas that Jim is proficient in include: teaching, training, coaching, sales, marketing, process development, customer satisfaction, project management, etc. In his prior employment, Jim had twelve years of General Manager and MSO Area Manager experience. His education features bachelors degrees from Mankato State University with dual majors in Business Management and HR Management and minors in Economics and Computer Science.

Mary Mahoney is President of the Collision Engineering Career Alliance, a nonprofit organization and nationally recognized model for collision repair education. As president, Mahoney leads Collision Engineering’s efforts to energize industry stakeholders, deepen education and employer partnerships, build a sustainable talent pipeline, and elevate collision repair’s image as a high-tech, high-opportunity career.

Mahoney brings a wealth of experience to the role, having dedicated 40 years to Enterprise Mobility before retiring from her position as vice president of the Replacement & Leisure division During her tenure with Enterprise Mobility, she provided leadership and guidance for the organization’s largest global accounts and was responsible for client and industry relations in the insurance, collision, dealer, and OEM.

With foundational support provided by the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, the Collision Engineering Career Alliance is an industry catalyst for addressing the ongoing technician shortage in collision repair. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization works to unite industry and education, remove barriers and foster sustainable pathways to rewarding collision repair careers. Through philanthropic contributions and an innovative, holistic training approach, the Collision Engineering Career Alliance empowers schools across the U.S. to recruit, support and equip students for the future of vehicle repair through industry-defined courses, certifications and hands-on training that enable them to build their knowledge while accelerating their careers.
